It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shannon Maureen Davidson, beloved wife of Ross Davidson, mother of Bruce (Sandra), Brian (Anita), Michael (Lisa); six grandchildren Julie, Krista, Eric, Lydia, Emma, Reid; and one great-grandchild (Connor). Predeceased by her son, Rick and sister, Patricia.
Shannon grew up in Ontario and moved to B.C. in 1964, settling in the Cowichan Valley, where she developed many lifelong friendships and enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, watching birds, caring for pets, and traveling widely.
Deep thanks to all the fantastic nurses at Cowichan District Hospital and Nanaimo Regional Hospital and Drs. Leckie, Pewarchuk, McGregor, Rimmer and Robertson. Special thanks and gratitude to Shirley, Michell, Barrie and all of our supportive friends and relatives. No service at Shannon’s request.
