Serge passed away during the early morning hours of January 24, 2019.
Born in Belgium, Serge and his family immigrated to Canada in 1956. The family settled in eastern Canada, but Serge eventually made his way to BC and called Squamish his home before he moved up to 100 Mile House. After completing a Grade 3 education in school, Serge was self-educated and did receive his Grade 12 equivalency which he was very proud of. Serge took pride in all his jobs and had two main passions -his family and woodworking. Serge was a hard worker and worked his life to his final project - Heaven.
Serge was preceded in death by his mother Marie Jose McLeod. He is survived by his caregiver/best friend, Linda M. Evans, his children, John, Sara, Rebecca, Travis and Dillon, 3 grandsons and his siblings, George and Marie Claire.
