Roy James Wrigley passed away peacefully at Fischer Place in 100 Mile House, B.C. on January 27, 2009. Roy was born in Vancouver, B.C. on December 14, 1941 to Olive Beatrice McIntosh and Walter James Wrigley. He was the youngest of two children. He was predeceased by sister Joyce Loretta Hollinger. He is survived by brother-in-law George Hollinger, nephew AJ (Denise), great nephews Austin and Kyle Hollinger and many dear friends and students. Roy was a dedicated elementary school teacher who loved his students and enjoyed living life to the fullest. He taught at Lac La Hache, Lake Hill and Mile 108 Elementary schools. Although he retired in 1997, he was still very active at Mile 108 Elementary. Roy became sick suddenly in late December and was diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. Roy will be dearly missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Mile 108 Elementary School, 4958 Easzee Drive, 108 Mile Ranch, B.C.
