1927-2020 ~ Rose Nell Haugseng née Dashensky passed into the presence of Jesus with her family by her side on December 23, 2020 at the age of 93 years.
She leaves sons Neil (ex-wife Heidi) and John Giesbrecht; grandchildren Tanis, Lauren (Tyler), and Kristine; and four great grandchildren; second husband Alf Haugseng and his family: children Sonja (Cal) Boomer, Kurt (Lynn) Haugseng, Karen (Joe) Wamboldt, and Lynn (Dan) Schutte; daughter-in-law Brenda Haugseng; grandchildren Hans, Heidi, Chris, Matt (Allison), Andrea (Denis), Bryana (Darby), Katrina (Travis), and Kirsten (Anthony); and 24 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her first husband Irwin Giesbrecht and stepson John.
Rose loved children and baking. She had a generous spirit, was compassionate and thoughtful and with her warm smile and love of life and people, she touched the lives of all who knew her.
