Ron passed away peacefully at the Cowichan District Hospital in Duncan B.C. with his family by his side. Predeceased by his father Gordon Martell, stepfather Wilfred Martell, mother- and father-in-law Patrick and Bridget Hogan and brother-in-law Ken Wright. Lovingly remembered by his family: wife of 33 years Eileen; children: Jana (Kevin) McGuinness, Michael (Christine) and Shiela; his mother Dorothy; grandchildren Kyla, Rachel and Sean; sister Linda (Pat) Wardell; brother Wayne (Kathy) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends. Funeral was held in Duncan in November. If so desired, memorial remembrances may be made in the form of a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society.
