1959 - 2009

After a lengthly and courageous battle with cancer, Ron passed away in his 50th year at home on August 17, 2009.

He is survived by his loving mother Velma, sister April, niece Caroline, and nephew Daniel.

We met a man across the road

A man they call the Chief

A dull scruffy red head

All natural, that’s my belief

He keeps busy inside and out

Too many things on the go

Always friendly and helpful

A good fellow to know

He often rides his ATV

Yet sometimes just his mower

The one thing he enjoys the most

Is his Bobcat, but it’s slower

Tinker here and tinker there

This man with his machine

Out helping friends and neighbours

As he often has been seen

A warm smile and a friendly face

Calculating life by his own measure

Knowing him has always been

Our sincere and heartfelt pleasure

His life has its ups and downs

He’s also caring for his mother

Some days not so good

His unlike any other

A man true to his word

Stubborn, determined, yet tightly wound

Trying to make a difference

Our friend’s name, Ron Found
