1938-2010
Rolf Kirmse of Lone Butte passed away suddenly on May 19, 2010 at his home. He was born on October 29, 1938 in Germany and spent many formative years there. Coming to Canada in 1996, Rolf opened up the Lone Butte Sporting Goods Store. He was an avid outdoorsman with many interests such as hunting, fishing and beekeeping.
Rolf is survived by his loving wife Angelika, daughter Alexandra (Peter), son Thomas (Sigrid) and six grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Rolf on Saturday July 24, 2010 at the Lone Butte Community Hall, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to South Cariboo Health Foundation Bag 399, 100 Mile House, BC V0K 2E0, will be greatly appreciated.
