It is with great sadness we regret to announce the sudden passing of Robert (Bob) Reichardt born on July 22, 1934 aged 73 years. Robert was born in Saskatoon, Sask. to Christina and Johannes Reichardt. He was predeceased by his loving wife of fifty years Barbara Reichardt nee Gaites. He is survived by his two sons Alan Reichardt (Donna) of 108 Mile House, BC and Darren Reichardt (Kerry) of Spruce Grove, Alta. He is also survived by his sister Tini Mcguire (George) of Hedley, BC and his five grandchildren Alexis Nadin, Trista Reichardt, Stephanie Reichardt, Brandon Reichardt, and Danielle Reichardt and his nieces and nephews. Robert passed away suddenly on May 8, 2008 at 108 Mile House, BC. Robert and Barbara were married June 29, 1957 in Cloverdale, BC. He moved to the Cariboo in 1972 with his wife and two sons, from Abbotsford, BC. Robert and Barbara purchased the Top Notch Café, which they ran until 1976. After residing in Williams Lake, BC for a short time, they relocated to the 108 Mile Ranch, BC. He worked for School District #27 as a painter for over twenty years when he retired. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 20, 2008 at the 108 Mile Community Hall at 3:30pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Canadian MS Society.
