In Loving Memory ~

Richard Gordon Tubbs passed away peacefully in 100 Mile Hospital on August 15, 2024.

He was born in Kamloops Hospital on February 6, 1944 to parents Gordon Tubbs and Pauline Richards and grew up in Forest Grove, B.C.

He worked at Weldwood for many years and ended his working days as a long haul truck driver. He was well known, respected and loved. Richard was a beloved father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.

Richard is survived by his sister Sylvia Griffith and her husband Tom Sweezey ( brother-in-law and long-time friend of 68 years).

His two daughters Pamela Junkin (Jim), grandsons Nathan and Jeremy and Tamara Tubbs, grandsons Spencer Tubbs-Beaman and Gavin Cox.

Nephew Jim Griffith (Anna), Cynthia and Davis.

Niece Kelly (Darwin Kilbreath) Veronika, Darien and Cale, as well as Kathy Remple (Tony Upton), Nicole (Wade Cunningham) Rhett, Daniel Remple (Janna), Ari and Emma.

Along with his partner Marianna Thibeault and his two kitties Sam and Annie.

Richard had a huge heart; it was full of love and kindness. He never thought twice about helping someone in need and never expected anything in return. He touched a lot of people's lives, and they were better for knowing him. He will be remembered for his laughter and smile that would light up a room.

There will be a celebration of life for my father Richard, on September 28th, 2024 at 1p.m. in the Forest Grove Community Hall. For more information, you can contact Tammy Tubbs on Facebook.
