After a short courageous battle with cancer, it is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Roy Anderson; loving husband and devoted father.
Roy was born April 1, 1937 in Vancouver. He passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 with family by his side.
He is predeceased by his parents, Arne and Veronica; his sisters, Janet and Joan; as well as his grandson, Gregory.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 57 years, Donna; their children, Lori (Ken) Anderson and Jackie (Mikael) Logdal; his beloved grandchildren, Melissa (James) Gray, Krista (Brandon) Bentley, and Brian Croaker; as well as his four great grandchildren, Kaylee, Bailey, Emily and Lana; his brother, Gerald (Darlene) Anderson; many nieces, nephews, close friends; and his pets, Keeko and Katie.
Our father loved the outdoor life, camping, hunting, fishing, and enjoyed feeding the birds at Deka Lake. He loved nature's beauty all around him, was a member of the Salmon Arm Car Club as well as in 100 Mile House, worked as an engineer with H.A. Simons Int., and overseas, until he retired.
He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
Dad would always say "I love my family".
Until we meet again, we love you always and forever.
There will be no service at this time. The family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
