April 14, 1923 - Nov. 30, 2011

Ralph was born at home near Broadview, Montana, the second child of Clarence and Evelyn Bick. His childhood was spent on farms in the Broadview and later Flathead Valley area in Montana.

In 1945 he married the love of his life, Arla Anderson. They farmed with their five children until 1967 when the family moved to a ranch east of 70 Mile House. In the next 27 years Ralph and Arla enjoyed their life’s dream of ranching in the Cariboo.

In 1994 they sold their ranch, retiring to Rock Creek, Midway, Grand Forks and later Williams Lake. Arla passed away in 2009 at Seniors Village in Williams Lake where Ralph also resided.

Ralph is survived by his five children: Patsy Cuthbertson, Clifford (Colleen) Bick, Jon (Sunny) Bick, Lorraine (Pat) Jasper, Kathy Martell, 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one sister and three brothers. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers and one sister.

Ralph will be remembered as a wonderful Dad, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa. He was always available to help friends, family and community. He told many stories of his childhood adventures, ranching, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He always had a happy outlook on life.
