Phyllis Gibson Purves of Bridge Lake died peacefully in Kamloops on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the age of 91. Her long life was full of love and generosity. All who knew her appreciated her quiet strength and wisdom. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. No service at her request. However, a celebration of her life will be held in Vancouver at a later date. The family wishes to thank the staff of Berwick on the Park in Kamloops for their care and kindness while she was there. In lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Society would be appreciated.
