Owen passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 due to complications from BPDCN Leukemia.
He was 15 years old. Owen will be forever missed by his whole family; his parents, Cameron and Nicole; his brother, Colin; and his grandparents, Colin and Judy Liske, and Alan and Joyce Ross.
Owen attended PSO, played guitar, and was involved with the minor hockey association and the cadets. He was a confident young man with an adventurous spirit and a fun sense of humour. His 2 1/2 year battle with cancer brought out his amazing courage, strength, resilience, and faith.
He loved snowboarding at Mt. Timothy and fishing on the 108 Lake. He especially loved 100 Mile House and its people.
He will forever be in our hearts.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" gathering at the PSO gym on Saturday, December 16 at 2 pm. All are welcome.
Memorial donations or cards can be dropped off at the gathering.
Donations will benefit the Childhood Cancer Canada Foundation and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada.
