Norman Nathaniel CARTER

Norman Carter, born Dec. 16, 1920, passed away on March 18, 2005. He will be missed by all. For the past 5 months he lived at George Derby Veterans’ Centre in Burnaby. He arrived in British Columbia from Saskatchewan in 1929, spending most of his life in the Burnaby area. He recently lived for a year in 100 Mile House, enjoying the rural Cariboo sights. He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine in 1991 and twin brother Hugh in 1992. He is survived by son Herb (Shirley) of 108 Mile Ranch; daughter Sheila (Gerrit) TeHennepe and granddaughter Sarah TeHennepe of Vancouver, B.C.; sisters Mary (Bert) Embree, Irene (Ted) Graham, brother Lorne, and his friend and companion Ruby Lewendon. A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Burnaby Centre Hart House on March 29, 2005.
