1921 – 2009

Nick Tide, age 88 of 100 Mile House passed away on September 1, 2009 at the 100 Mile Hospital.

Nick was born on August 18, 1921 in Usherville, Saskatchewan. He served in the Canadian Forces RCAA in heavy duty artillery 1942 & 1943. Nick was married in 1950 and lived in Endeavour, Saskatchewan. Moved to the 100 Mile area in 1955, Nick worked in the logging industry for many years. He enjoyed racing boats, pony chariot racing in rodeos, hunting and fishing and other outdoor sports, and also raced ponies in the Ben Hur style.

Nick is survived by his loving wife, Jean and his daughter Valerie (Ernie). He will be sadly missed by his family and friends and will be forever in our hearts. A family gathering will take place at a later date.
