Nettie VOTH

Aganetha (Nettie) Voth passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on July 21, 2004. She was born October 22, 1914 to Jacob and Justina Heinrichs near Altona, Man. She spent her early years growing up on the family farm in Bergfeld, Man. On September 9, 1934, Nettie married Gerhardt (George) Voth, starting a life together that in 1952 took them from farming in Manitoba to homesteading near Vanderhoof, B.C. They moved in 1969 to the Okanagan and then to retirement in Clearbrook, B.C. in 1976, finally settling at Chimney Lake in 1991. Nettie was predeceased by her son Menno in 1968. She will be sadly missed but sweetly remembered by George, her husband of almost 70 years; her surviving children, Harvey (Mary), Rodney (Priscilla), Georgia Howard (Ron), and Levi (Micki); and many grandchildren and geat-grandchildren. Also left to mourn are “children” Larry and Priscilla Larsen as well as many friends and relatives. A service of celebration was held on July 31, 2004 at the Evangelical Free Church in Williams Lake.
