1944 - 2009
Murray Glen “Bud” LaFavor, age 64, of 100 Mile House, passed away suddenly Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops.
He was born December 13, 1944 in New Westminster. Murray moved with his family to 100 Mile House in 1978. He worked as a volunteer fireman for 25 years, and was employed by the District of 100 Mile House.
Murray is survived by his wife of 43 years, Margaret; three children: Steven (Marlene), Kevin and Angela Therrien; two grandchildren: Renee and Holly, four sisters: Irene, Catherine, Carol and Rene; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 18, 2009 at the 100 Mile Community Hall. Memorial donations may be made to the BC Heart and Stroke Foundation, 201-635 Victoria Street, Kamloops, British Columbia, V2C 2B3.
