Feb. 3, 1942 - July 11, 2010

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Martha Pearl Peterson on July 11, 2010 in Quesnel, B.C.

Martha grew up in the Alexandria area. In 1962 she married Charles Peterson. They moved to 100 Mile House where they raised their family. Martha worked at the Sears store there for a number of years. In 1985 they moved to Lytton, B.C. before settling in Revelstoke in 1990. Martha returned to Quesnel in 2004. She was an avid reader and gardener. Martha had a passion for St. Bernards. She loved her family and was a real “people person.” Martha was a past president of Revelstoke Legion and volunteered at the Salvation Army in Quesnel.

Martha is survived by daughter Betty (Jerry) Welch, son Raymond (Linda) Peterson. Grandchildren Jolene, Kevin, Ashley and Zachary. Mother Rose Iverson, sister Frances (Wayne) Philpott, sister in law Marjorie (Maurice) Bruneau and brother in law Chris (Sandra) Peterson. She also has numerous nieces and nephews and special friend Phil Elliott. Martha is predeceased by her husband Charles Peterson.
