It is with great sadness and fond memories that we, the family of Luigino Volpiana announce his passing December 31, 2005 after a sudden illness at the age of 55. Luigino was a loving father, husband and friend. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his children Debora and Steven Volpiana, his fiancé Arlene Andrews and his former wife, Sharon; sisters Anna (Ferniccio), Pia (Enzo) in Italy, and brother Alex (Diana) in Vancouver; as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his mother, Luigia, father Gaetna, and brothers Toni, Lino, Tiziano and Giavanni. Luigino was a member of the Bricklayers Union Local 2 and loved his craft. Many dear friends will feel his loss. Services will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the CT Scan Fund for GR Baker Hospital in Quesnel.
