"Lovely" Lisa Jo Posnikoff passed away on July 21st, 2020. With her innate ability to care deeply for all living beings, Lisa illuminated the lives of those around her.
She valued simple living and spent much of her time gardening, at which she excelled. In addition to her warm, compassionate nature, Lisa was as tough as a viking, which showed through her "do it yourself (but do it right)" attitude and the tremendous amount of work she accomplished because of it.
Some of the quirks she will be remembered for include her undying love for a good episode of survivor, her delightfully unfiltered way of communicating and her dedication to policing your plastic bag usage.
She is survived by her husband, Walt; her daughter, Megan; her siblings, Julie, Sabrina, Dean, Derek, Sally and Nathan; and other family members who were lucky enough to receive her love. In lieu of flowers, Lisa has requested donations be made to the Canadian Red Cross.
An intimate celebration will be held for family and close friends.
