It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Leslie Wayne Buss on October 28 surrounded by his family at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC at the age of 59. Les joined the military at a young age like his father,

Milton Buss, from Forest Grove. His oldest son, William, is now a career soldier.

He will be remembered for his service in the correctional field and for his long career as a trade unionist.

Les is survived by his loving mother Dorothy; step-father Gary; children William, Jacob and Brittney; his 2 granddaughters Lily and Sloane; his brothers Brian, Doug, Trent and Rod; Sister Vernus; and countless nieces and nephews.

Les was well-loved by everyone who knew him and will be missed for his sense of humour and his big heart. Les was a legend at the Lakewood Inn and he will live on in the countless stories he shared.

He has been reunited with his dad, grandma, and beloved uncles.

A service will be held in Maple Ridge on Sunday, November 6.
