Mar 22, 1932 - Nov 29, 2017
LeRoy will be forever remembered by his loving wife, Alfreda Campbell; his children, Susan Thibeault (Greg), Diane Campbell (Ron), Bruce Campbell (Maryanne), Colleen Campbell (Rod), and Stewart Campbell (Tracy); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several of his brothers and sisters, including his twin sister, Leone Curtis.

LeRoy was born in Quesnel, BC, one of fifteen children. The Cariboo has always been his home. He married his wife, Alfreda, in 1960 and they moved to 100 Mile House in 1961 to raise their five children.

LeRoy worked in many different jobs over the years, but his greatest passion was for horses. He loved every aspect of working with horses and working on the ranch. He also loved fishing, camping, spending time in the outdoors, and most of all, puttering in his shop.

He spent many hours out there with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, working on all sorts of projects, from wooden swords to birdhouses, as well as wooden sleighs. Many of LeRoy's friends and family will have cherished memories of his magical sleigh rides around Christmas time.

LeRoy was a generous and giving person. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, to his neighbours, friends, and even strangers. He always had a story to tell.

In keeping with the wishes of LeRoy, there will be no funeral service.

Cariboo-Chilcotin Funeral Services entrusted with the arrangements.
