Lawrence passed away suddenly on Nov. 3, 2007. He is lovingly remembered by his dear friend Nora, his daughters, Linda and Lois, sons, Bill and Robert, stepdaughters, Linda and Cathy and stepson, John. Along with his 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Shirley and first wife, Roberta. He will be greatly missed by his family, his firefighter brothers and his many friends. Larry (Buck) was a member of the Burnaby Fire Department from 1946 to 1977 when he retired as Deputy Chief. He enjoyed his retirement days relaxing on the shores of Sheridan Lake in the Interior. A celebration of Larry’s life will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007 at 11:00am at the Firefighters Banquet Centre, 6515 Bonsor Avenue in Burnaby. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the BC Cancer Agency.
