Dec. 18, 1958 - Mar. 13, 2008

Passed away suddenly at work at Telus of a heart episode on Thursday morning. Left to mourn our deep loss, his beloved wife Helen; stepson Marcus; daughters Tanya and Thereasa; parents Don (Stoney) and Helen Stone of 108 Mile Ranch; sister Heather (Don) Williams and children; brothers Don (Elke) and children; Shawn (Gros) and daughters; the Perrault family; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and numerous friends in B.C., Alberta, Ontario, Halifaz and Yukon. Larry so enjoyed life to its fullest. He was a very talented author. He wrote his book “Heart of Stone” after his first heart attack years ago. It was about the physical and mental affect of a heart attack and the devastating reprecussions on family life after. He was an avid painter and wrote a number of poems. There are still a number of his paintings and murals in Watson Lake, Yukon, where he resided for a number of years. He was a fabulous cook and could barbeque to perfection a steak the size of a roast. Needless to say he loved to eat. This boy also knew a million jokes and told them all. He was a generous and loving person to family and friends. Also left to mourn are Angela and the Bromleys. Well, we must say goodbye to our good natured, funny teddy bear now. Remember the cup is always half full not half empty. Mom and Dad and family forever. May you rest in God’s loving arms until we will join you. Funeral was at the Good Shepherd Church, Surrey, on Wednesday, March 19, 2008.
