In loving memory ~
Ken passed away peacefully in his home on Dec 14.
He is survived by his daughters, son-in-laws and grandson's of which he was very proud; Tammy & Bob Hale and sons Bobby and Alex, Lynn & Mike Lievers and sons Stran and Kash, and Amber & Jim Malm and sons Kenny and John. He is also survived by his brothers John (Judy) Greenall, and Matt (Star) Greenall, sister- in-law Connie Greenall, and his nephews and nieces, and many friends. He is preceded by his Mother Helen Greenall, Father William (Bill) Greenall, Step Mother Nora Greenall, and his older brother Larry Greenall.
Born in Richmond, he moved with his parents to the Cariboo as a child, and it was there he found his true home in the Bridge Lake area where he learned hunting and trapping and love of the Cariboo. Educated at BCIT, and working throughout BC as a contractor and pilot, he saw more of western Canada than most ever will. He worked in gold mine camps, flew fish out of remote airports in Northern BC, and flew over ice flows in Churchill, Manitoba looking for a friend who had gone missing. He was an avid pilot who was proud to have had his pilot's license for so long. He flew to Angel Falls in Venezuela, and survived two plane crashes and one helicopter crash, but never lost his love for aviation.
A gathering of family and friends will occur at a later date.
