Long time 100 Mile resident Ken Jervis passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, on April 21, 2009. He is survived by his devoted and fearless wife, Lisa, his caring mother and stepfather, and his two wonderful sons, Harlan and Dane. Often fondly referred to at home as “Adventure Dad”, he was deeply devoted to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. Ken never backed down from a challenge, and he never obeyed a speed limit. Although some might think that his life ended too soon, those of us that knew him well know that he never wasted a moment of it. For Ken it wasn’t a short life, it was a long and exciting childhood.

All are invited to attend our celebration of Ken’s life in May 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the Lone Butte Community Hall. Personal photos and stories of “adventures with Ken” are welcome to be shared. In lieu of flowers, please donate, in Ken’s memory, to the Association for Injured Motorcyclists (AIM).
