August 21, 1944 - February 20, 2019
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Judith Claire McKenzie (Stanley). In a short period of time Judy went from her vigorous, active life into an unexpected battle with cancer. She passed away with her loving family by her side. Judy was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on August 21, 1944.

She and her lifelong friends Carol and Donna married McKenzie brothers and formed a tight knit extended family. After moving to 100 Mile House in 1974 the family ranch became a getaway for the entire family. Judy, a city girl at heart, became an energetic member of the 100 Mile Community where she has forged many heartfelt friendships over the past 45 years. She was a woman of steadfast dependability, fairness of mind and vibrant humour. These qualities were on full display through her long term role with Lee's Custom Floors.

Judy lives on in the hearts and minds of her family and friends. She is survived by her children Janet McKenzie (James) and James McKenzie (Tien). Her grandchildren Bradley and Julia. Her sister Doreen (Reg) and her brother Jim (Laurel). On behalf of Judy and her family we would like to give thanks to the staff of 100 Mile House Hospital for their compassionate care. Thank you to Dr. Bruce Nicholson.

Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 2 at 1 pm at Creekside Centre, 100 Mile House, BC.
