Joost Bernard De Bruijn
October 14, 1949 - September 28, 2017
Our beloved Joost's body was no longer able to support him and he passed away peacefully in Edmonton.
Joost will be deeply missed by his wife, Ria; sister, Mariette (John); brothers, Roland (Cathryn), Mark (Carol), Jeremy (Jen); grandma, Jean; as well as many nephews, nieces, lifelong, new friends, and family in Holland.
Joost lived a dynamic life. Some of his jobs include, Donkey Baseball Wrangler, Grave Digger, and Fire Tower Lookout.
Before retiring, Joost taught youth at risk both in Alberta public schools and in a detox program.
He was appreciated by both students and colleagues.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Joost and Ria's backyard in 108 Mile Ranch, BC on October 21, 2017 at 2:00 pm. Plan to stay a while.
