The family of John Sturgeon is left bereft at his sudden and unexpected passing at the age of 68, the morning of January 11th 2020 at his home in Lac La Hache.
John was born in Vancouver and spent most of his life in the Lower Mainland where he met his first wife Martina. They raised 3 children, Ross (Natasha), Elizabeth (Wes), Leona (Gerald), who provided them with 7 wonderful Grandchildren.
In 1998 John made a life changing move and settled in the Cariboo where he met Elaine and embraced the expansion of his family to include Brandon (Angela), Breanna (Konrad), and 3 1/2 Grandchildren.
In the last 15 years John became a well respected contractor who always took pride in his work and will be greatly missed in the community.
John is also survived by his sister Lorraine (David), their two children, and his brother Don (Luva Lynne).
Above all, John's heart was in his family and he will be sorely missed by all who felt his loving, caring presence.
A private farewell was held by the family on January 18th. A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held in the Spring.
