The family sadly announces the passing of John Maxwell (known to many as "Max") on February 28, 2022.
He was a friend to many and will forever be remembered for his big smile and love of people.
John was born in Kamloops, BC in 1937 and resided for much of his life in Vancouver. He spent his working life as a truck driver. His love was the Cariboo where he felt most at home. He had his cabin at Green Lake for many years and eventually lived there in his retirement.
He is survived by his sister Carol (Harvey), sister Sheila, nieces Laura and Carly (Sean).
The family would like to thank the staff of Fischer place for their kind and compassionate care.
A gathering will be held to celebrate his life in the near future.
