John Schick, 76, of 100 Mile House, British Columbia, passed away suddenly on Monday April 23, 2018 in the 100 Mile House Hospital.
Born November 2, 1941 in Duncan, British Columbia to Fred and Isabel Schick. He lived in various communities throughout B.C. before settling in 100 Mile House in 1979.
John was passionate about tinkering on automotive equipment, notably restoring a beautiful 1928 Model T Ford, which he later sold.
John was a witty, fun-loving man, who taught his daughters many valuable skills in their early years. John is survived by his daughters Tracey (Rudy) Trouwborst, and Deborah (Gerry) Hansom; five grandchildren; sisters, Joannie Tetlock and Gerrie Glencross, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday July 8, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Senior Park at 5831 Horse Lake Road, 100 Mile House, BC for a celebration of life.
