It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, sister, grandmother and friend. Joanne passed away peacefully in the 100 Mile District Hospital on March 13 at the age of 55.
She is survived be her loving family; daughter Pauline (Mike), sons Sean and Daniel (Amanda), grandchildren Tatianna and Kaydence, sisters Gisele (Guy) and Annette (Mark), brother Ronald (Barbara), nephew Stephen (Melissa), niece Michelle (Alan), Doane, her best friend Allan as well as extended family. Joanne was predeceased by her parents Fernand and Aline Guy.
The family would like to thank Dr. Vithalal and the wonderful staff on the Acute floor as well as Fischer Place for the care they gave to Joanne.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the summer. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the South Cariboo Health Foundation or the BC Cancer Agency.
