It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our sister Joan, with her family at her side, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Joan is survived by her loving husband Watson of Moosejaw, Sask.; her daughters: Susan of Whitehorse, Karen of Edmonton, Norma Jean of Moosejaw; and son James of Regina; also several precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joan was born in Prince George, B.C. and moved to 100 Mile House in the mid-50s with her late parents Chuck and Sadie Skelton. She leaves to remember her three sisters: Darlene Hastings of 100 Mile House, Candice Stark of Mackenzie and Jane Skelton of 100 Mile House along with their husbands, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will always remember Joan for her fascinating stories, her hard work and her deep love for her family.
