It is with profound sadness and regret that we must announce the sudden passing of our beloved son, brother, and uncle, Jason.
Left to mourn are his loving parents, Barb and Wayne, his three brothers, Trevor (Jen), Johnathon (Elisha), and Paul, as well as his nephews and nieces, Gareth, William, Katelyn, and Brooke. Also left behind are his countless friends and other family members who will miss him deeply.
Jason was an avid fisherman, an adept mechanic and welder, a lover of music, outdoor sports and games, and an exceptional cook. Even as a child it was rare to see Jason without a wrench or a fishing rod in his hand.
Jason was born and spent his youngest years in Kamloops B.C. attending school in Rayleigh and playing baseball and hockey as well as other team sports with distinction. With his family, he moved to 100 Mile House in the early 90s where he attended local schools and finished growing up, but his heart and soul were in Fort St. John, where he spent the remainder of his adult life thriving in industry as a welder and mechanic. Despite the signature Brown stubbornness and attitude, Jason excelled in all that he loved and his skill and creativity is reflected in his many immaculate works.
Jason always had time for his family and friends. He will be missed greatly.
A service for Jason will be held on Saturday, August 17 at 2 pm in the Lone Butte Community Hall.
