James Edward Antosh

October 29, 1940 - September 3, 2017

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of James  (Jim) Edward Antosh on September 3rd, 2017 in Kamloops surrounded by his family.

Jim was born on October 29, 1940 in Squamish, BC where he spent most of his life.

Jim is predeceased by his parents, Ed and Vi Antosh of Squamish. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Alberta (Bert); his three sons, Glen (Maria), Joe (Nancy), Cory (Jenny); and his six grandchildren, Teri, Lisa (Adam), Chadd, Cody (Robyn), Ryan and Megan.

After a 43-year career with BC Rail (Squamish), Jim and Bert decided to move to the Cariboo and build their dream home on Watch Lake where they enjoyed retirement together in the BC outdoors.

Jim could always be found busy around the house fixing or building something because the 'job' was just never quite done.

He had many fond memories of the friendships he forged over the years at work, playing sports, or doing his outdoor activities (hunting & fishing).

Jim / Dad / Papa - we will always cherish the memories you gave us, and you will be sincerely missed forever.

Respecting Jim's wishes, there will not be a service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kamloops Hospice Association or the Vascular Department at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops, BC.

Your condolences will be approved within one business day. You will need a valid Facebook account. Please email us if you have any questions.
