March 10, 1921 - November 4, 2020
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Milliken. A long time Cariboo resident, he was born March 10th 1921 in Kindersley Saskatchewan and passed away November 24th 2020 in 100 Mile House. He was 99 years old.
A WW2 veteran he served 54 months in the North Atlantic as a submarine detector protecting the conveys to and from England. He was an avid square dancer.
He leaves 4 daughters. Selena Haines, Mary Lou Graun (Fred), Darlene Raymond (Grant) and Susan MacPherson (Grant) and many loving grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a wealth of friends.. Predeceased by his wife Florence in 2005.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff and nurses of Fischer Place - E wing and especially Dr Street for always being there for Dad. Due to Covid there will be no memorial at this time.
