January 10, 1929 - August 11, 2008

Jack Lunniss passed away Monday, August 11, 2008, in the early morning with all his family by his side. Jack is survived by his wife, Lois, of 59 years, his three daughters, Donna (Jim) Paterson, Dale (Brett) Grinyer, Judy (Dennis) Power, five grandchildren, Dany (Deserai), Sean (Esther), Chad (Cassidy), Michelle (Ralph), Danielle (Alan), and nine great-grandchildren. Jack was born in Codette, Saskatchewan on January 10,

1929 and came to British Columbia to work in the sawmill industry in the year of 1946. He started his journey by working for Tom Auld, Sr., and later went to work for his future brother-in-law, Rudy Jens at Canim Lake Sawmill. Jack retired in 1980. Jack enjoyed carpet bowling and playing pool at the Creekside Senior Centre, as well as going for coffee at A&W and Yummers. The family would like to thank Dr. Street and staff, the nurses at 100 Mile House Hospital for such loving care, Carefree Manor and 100 Mile Funeral Service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the 100 Mile House and District Hospital or 100 Mile House Fire Rescue in memory of Jack Lunniss. No service by request. Special thanks to Rev.
