It is with sadness and regret that we announce the passing of Ida Rowat. Ida was living at Gillis House in Merritt, BC at the time of her passing.
Ida was predeceased by her husband, Douglas Keith Rowat, in 2002.
Ida and Doug moved to the 100 Mile area in 1983 from Maple Ridge, BC. Ida was well known to many in our community and had a welcoming smile for everyone.
She is survived by her children, Scott Rowat, Robert Rowat, and Janet Van Voorst; their spouses; and many grandchildren, nieces and nephews; as well as many friends and relatives.
