It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of a wonderful woman, Ida Jacobson. She leaves behind her daughter and best friend, Barb Geurtsen (Bert), sons Bruce Jacobson (Chris), and Keith Jacobson. Ida had a caregiving spirit, she never complained and put her heart and soul into making life for others the best it could be. Some might remember her as a nurse at 100 Mile Hospital. Ida was predeceased by her loving husband, Henry in 1984, and is the last of the generation of her brothers and sisters. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, but each have a special memory that they will keep close to their heart, and will never forget the love she gave them. Also, she was blessed with four great-grandchildren, with the fifth due January 25. There will be a celebration of Ida’s life January 5, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at St. Timothy’s Anglican Church; reception to follow downstairs.
