1916 - 2010

To know Harry was to love him.  Surrounded by dear family and friends, our beloved Harry passed away peacefully on Sept. 3, 2010 at Fischer Place, 100 Mile House, in his 95th year.  Born March 18th,1916 in Edmonton, Alberta, Harry is survived by his wife Margaret Ethelyne née Alexandre, daughter Ruth Edwina, granddaughters Chloe and Julie, nephews Bob, Dennis, Brian; nieces Carol and Carolyn, Katie and sister-in-law Beryl. Harry is predeceased by his father Henry James, his mother Dorothy, brother Raymond and sister Joyce.  A kind, creative, and generous man, Harry will be greatly missed. Harry will be fondly remembered for his large vegetable garden, for his faithful and patient ways, and for his quick jokes.

A Celebration of Harry’s Life will be held at Bethel Chapel, 100 Mile House, at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2010.

Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff at Fischer Place, to caregivers and friends Helen, Lyndamae, and Noreen; to the caring Interior Health Home-Support team, and to all the family and friends from Bethel Chapel.
