Born on February 26, 1932, passed away on February 7, 2008 at 100 Mile Hospital. Harold, better known as ‘Curly,’ was born at his parent’s ranch at Roe Lake. He spent most of his life there where he was surrounded by loved ones, including his many four-legged friends. Curly spent some time as a guide for hunting parties while enjoying some hunting of his own. Later he returned to Roe Lake and gradually increased his cattle herd. He also worked as a Cat operator. Curly’s bright smile and laughing eyes will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife, Gun, and children Christine (Barry) Baker, Michael, Vicky, Norman, and Lars (Colleen) Granberg; as well as his grandchildren Brittany, Hailey, Shae, and Paige; his sisters Helen (Chris) Horn and Janis Maxfield and brother Norman (Anna) Granberg. He was pre-deceased by his son Garth, and two infant daughters, as well as his sister Olga (Charlie) Thorsteinson. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. Nicolson, the physio department, the nurses and staff, and the kitchen department at 100 Mile Hospital. In lieu

of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A celebration of Curly’s life will be held on March 22, 2008 at the Interlakes Hall beginning at 1:00 p.m.
