Gordon was 92, survived by his wife Eileen, his sons John (Tammy), Ron (Sherry), grandchildren Ryan, Scott, Kailee, Melissa, Nick and Randy, great grandchildren Lily, Jax, Aria, Kinzley and Oaklen. Brother Alan.
Dad was a man of few words. He logged and farmed on Southern Vancouver Island, but had a dream of Ranching in the Caribou and he fulfilled that dream, he stayed at it as long as he could. Retirement was not in his vocabulary, but his health forced him to give it up.
Special thank you to Bill Versluis and Nancey and Richard Hadden for helping him to stay on the Ranch until he was 88 years old. Thank you to the staff at Fischer Place/ Mill Site Lodge in 100 Mile House, for looking after Dad in his final years.
Dad set the example of a good work ethic, something that has served me and my brother well through our lives. We respect him for chasing his dreams and achieving them. He taught us to work hard and do the best job you can do, and along the way don't be afraid to get a little shit on your boots!
Rest In Peace Dad!
