It is with great sadness that we announce the end of an era with the passing of Gordon Kellett, the last Kellett at Canim Lake. Gordon was predeceased by his father George and his mother Marion. He is survived by cousins, Gail Parkstrom, Lori Tiller, Karen Lazar, the Wright family, Glenn, Gordon, Paul and sister Barbara Fidler, and Jim Kidd and Patricia Kennedy.
Gordon's last few years held many challenges but with the support of loyal friends, family members and care workers, he was able to stay in his beloved home on Canim Lake until February of this year. Many thanks to the staff at both Mill Site Lodge and Fischer Place for their care in his final months.
The funeral service for Gordon will be held on Saturday, July 4th, 2020 at 11 am at the Forest Grove Cemetery. A reception will follow immediately at the Forest Grove Community Center.
We will be respecting the Provincial Restrictions in place at that time, and will be practicing physical distancing and safety measures, therefore seating may be limited.
