My lovely wife and best friend of almost 49 years passed away June 04, 2016 at the 100 House Hospital after a long struggle with cancer.
Gloria loved this community and it’s friendly people and was active in the local Tai Chi group. We are going to miss her warm smile and her laughter that always cheered us up.
Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at the 100 Mile House Hospital for their care and compassion for my wife and a special thank you to nurse Fay Martens of the chemo clinic for her compassion for those who are undergoing treatments.
She is survived by her husband Dwayne, son Jason, daughter in-law Kasia, brother Patrick Hauer, and step mother Marg Hauer.
There will be no service by request but we will have a gathering at our home for those interested to share happy memories on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
