March 26, 1928 - May 1, 2008

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gerry Snow on the 1st of May, 2008. Beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Gerry was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland, the fourth of ten children to Raymond and Helen Snow. Upon moving away from home he spent 20 years with the RCAF stationed on various bases throughout Canada and Germany. He then spent 20 years with CPR in Cranbrook, BC before retiring to Green Lake, BC where he enjoyed 12 years relaxing with a view. Gerry is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Barbara, his children; Patrick (Carol), Maureen, Kathy (Ralph), Wendy (Devin), and Tim (Lisa), his grandchildren; Helen, Nicholas, Dustin, Katy, Jennifer, Ben, Laura, and Jesse, great grandchildren; Kaleb, Jon, Roberta, Hannah and wee Carter, his siblings; Anne, Joan, Madeline (Bill), Harry (Beth), Maureen (John), and Kevin (Linda), along with many nieces, nephews, and good friends. Gerry was predeceased by his parents as well as his brothers; Fred, Bill, and Ray. Gerry passed away peacefully at his home in 100 Mile House as was his wish. The family would sincerely like to thank Dr. Street, Debbie Lundeen, Meg and Shane Gunn and all the wonderful friends that have shared their warmth and caring spirits at this time. No flowers or service at Gerry’s request. Donations in Gerry’s memory can be made to the kidney or diabetes foundations.
