Gerald (Jerry/Gumbootie) Dale Rector of the Interlakes Area passed away suddenly on January 25, 2007. He was born in Truro, Nova Scotia on March 18, 1947. Jerry was a well known and widely respected lineman and avid snowmobiler who loved the Cariboo where he had lived for last 17 years. Jerry is survived by loved ones: Brenda, son Greg Rector of Maple Ridge, daughter Carole Aubin of Agassiz, and 3 grandsons, Nathan, Benjamin and Marcus. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday February 10, 2007 at 2:00pm at the 100 Mile Bethel Pentecostal Community Church. Pastor Neil Mansell officiating. Reception to follow. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
