In loving memory ~
George Bruckner of 100 Mile House, BC, passed away peacefully in the early morning of October 21st, 2024. He was surrounded by family.
George was born in Kolín, Czech Republic where he spent his youth prior to moving to Canada in 1969.
He settled in 100 Mile House, BC, where he eventually pursued a career in professional forestry, spending 36 years working for the Ministry of Forests. He was creative, intelligent and had a strong passion for his work, photography and art. He was a very talented professional wildlife photographer and an avid fly fisherman. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors or travelling the country.
He is survived by his wife, Myra Bruckner, son, Richard Bruckner, daughter, Sarah Bruckner, sister, Joanne Doubrava and their surrounding family.
George was a kind and gentle soul. He is no longer in pain or suffering and is finally resting in peace.
He will be greatly missed and always loved.
