Frederick P. Patterson passed away Sun., Aug. 6, 2006 at the New Mexico State Veteran’s Home in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. Mr. Patterson was born in Philadelphia, Pa. on Feb. 3, 1921 to Paul and Anna (Blanchard) Patterson. He was a veteran of WWII and served in the US Army. Mr. Patterson was a retired farmer, a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 58 in Riverside, Calif. and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife Alma I. Patterson of Truth or Consequences; a daughter Patricia and husband George Mark of 100 Mile House, B.C.; son Frederick P. Patterson, Jr. and wife Lois of Silverton, Ore.; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters Barbara Ann and husband Steve Cortez of Leland, N.C. and Doris Varnum of Supply, N.C. Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
