Frederick Curtis Hutchinson, born August 24, 1933, passed away peacefully with family holding his hands on January 1, 2018. Fred valiantly battled cancer to his last breath.
His wife of sixty-two years, June, and their five children; Debbie (Bill Rand), Cheryl Hutchinson, Kerry (Jon Harper), Kelly (Alison Bellmond) and Lori (Greg Dusik); with grandchildren, Aaron, Kelli, Matt, Travis and Ryan, thank family, friends and medical caregivers for all of their support and exceptional care.
Fred is survived by his elder brother, Bob Hutchinson and sister, Jennie (John Walker), and a very, very large extended family.
Fred lived his entire life in Williams Lake as part of the large pioneering Curtis family and has many lifelong friends to share memories of a life well lived.
Fred will be remembered as a good-natured, fun-loving, family man who loved sports and never missed a good party. Highlights included playing goal for the Stampeders, golfing with the "Sunday Sinners", volunteering 25 years for the WLFD, annual hunting trips with lifelong friends, and so many backyard parties.
The family extends their heartfelt thanks for family and friends' support and wish to invite everyone to share your memories at a celebration of life to be held May 19th at the Elks Hall.
