Frank was born July 1, 1927 in Strathclair, Manitoba. He is predeceased by his father, Wasyl Jerema, mother, Lena Jerema Watson, brother Stanley & sister Kathleen. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lorraine; brother Andy Jerema (Alice); daughter Candace Severin (Warren), grandson Matthew Szelagiewicz (Elsy), granddaughter Stephanie Noel (Manuel), 5 great grandchildren, Mason, Mateo, Sienna, Layla & Sophia, former son-in-law Stan Szelagiewicz and partner Gaetane Cornect and several nieces & nephews.
Frank's life education began at age 12 on an icebreaker on Lake Superior. He was a diamond driller in Guatemala, ironworker on large projects (2nd Narrows Bridge), partnership of an automotive dealership and proprietor of his own auto wrecking business in Maple Ridge.
Frank was an avid hunter & fisherman. He and Lorraine moved to the Cariboo in 1998, built a home on acreage & enjoyed life cattle ranching for a few years. He served in the Army and Merchant Marine.
Frank told great stories about his life's adventures. He was always willing to lend a hand. Frank was a kind, personable and loving father, husband and great grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
No service by request. An informal gathering of family and friends will be held at 1 PM, September 26, 2020 at home.
